Truven Health Analytics to Demonstrate New Healthcare Fraud, Waste & Abuse Solutions at America’s Health Insurance Plans Institute 2013


Ann Arbor, MI, Jun. 12, 2013 — Truven Health AnalyticsTM  will present a session on new innovations to limit healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse at the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute 2013. During the lunch break session, Mark Gillespie, senior director of payment integrity solutions for Truven Health Analytics, will present some of the company’s newest innovations designed to help health plans further limit their risk from fraud.

The annual AHIP Institute, which will take place June 12-14, 2013 at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, brings together the top minds in health plan management from across the country.
The Truven Health demo, Fraud, Waste, and Abuse – Combining Best Practices and New Innovations for Health Plans, will be presented repeatedly in 15-minute intervals on Thursday, June 13 from 12:45 to 1:15 PM at the Truven Health Analytics booth #135.  The presentation will showcase how Truven is leveraging its payment integrity experience with the State Medicaid market along with its big data management and analysis capabilities to deliver a new, innovative provider risk scoring, screening, and surveillance solution.
