Memorial Health System Selects Micromedex Evidence-based Drug, Toxicology, Disease and Condition Management Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Solution

Illinois-based health system chooses Truven Health™ Micromedex® Solutions to serve as a single source of evidence-based clinical information across its organization

Ann Arbor, MI, Jun. 20, 2013 — Truven Health Analytics™ today announced that Memorial Health System, a three-hospital, 500-bed organization based in Springfield, Ill., has renewed a multi-year agreement for broad access to Micromedex Clinical Knowledge Suite for evidence-based Drug, Toxicology, and Disease and Condition management clinical resources and tools.

With this agreement, clinical staff in all three Memorial Health System hospitals will continue to have unlimited access to evidence-based clinical content such as drug dosing and interactions, poisonous substance identification, and patient-specific disease treatment options to help them make informed and confident patient safety, medication, and care management decisions.

The Memorial Health System staff will have access to Micromedex Solutions from a computer or tablet, anywhere in the hospital, at any time. Additionally, Micromedex mobile applications are available to all staff for free download as part of the Memorial Health subscription.


As with all Micromedex customers, Memorial Health will have access to Micromedex Total Support Solutions, a service and training offering that is included at no extra cost with all
Micromedex Solutions. Total Support Solutions provide clinicians and staff with Web-based tutorials, webinars, and an on-site training migration program to familiarize all end-users with the easy-to-use interface and powerful search capabilities of Micromedex.
