Truven Health and Post-n-Track Team Up to Provide Consumers with Accurate Healthcare Cost Estimates

Partnership extension ensures Truven customers have access to real-time cost estimation and eligibility tools

Ann Arbor, MI, Dec. 03, 2013 — Post-n-Track, a proven provider of information logistics for healthcare management, announced today that Truven Health Analytics, a leader in healthcare data, analytics, and consumer health solutions, has extended its contract to utilize Post-n-Track’s cloud-based Web services platform for the exchange of eligibility data. The two companies have partnered since 2008 to facilitate delivery of the Truven Health Treatment Cost Calculator to provide real-time cost estimates to consumers through their payer or provider.

The Treatment Cost Calculator utilizes Post-n-Track’s cloud-based Web services platform to deliver accurate, real-time estimates of an individual’s out-of-pocket costs. These estimates are personalized to the consumer using “up-to-the-minute” plan balances that factor in their outstanding deductible, copay, and other benefits information, as well as the provider and location. For payers and providers implementing the Treatment Cost Calculator, the secure platform simplifies the exchange of information—making implementation faster and easier.
