SabiaMed, Provider of Hospital Information Systems, has entered into an Alliance with Truven Health Analytics to Resell Integrated Micromedex Patient Education and Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Content and Resources to its ClinNext EHR Customers

Ann Arbor, MI, Jun. 14, 2016 — Truven Health Analytics™, an IBM Company, announced a multi-year agreement with SabiaMed, to resell Truven Health Micromedex® Solutions for medication, disease, laboratory and other clinical decision support to Latin American customers. SabiaMed also will resell Micromedex CareNotes® for patient and consumer education.

As part of Truven Health’s focus helping healthcare organizations improve quality and patient outcomes, Micromedex® Solutions provide information within clinician workflow, through a hospital information system. Micromedex Solutions provide evidence-based clinical decision support that can help clinicians make decisions at the point of care. These resources deliver patient-specific, context-aware knowledge retrieval capabilities when and where clinicians need it most.

  • Standard Disease Information for resources. Can be supplemented with a Truven Health Micromedex subscription to include Expanded Disease Information.
  • Lab Recommendations and test information to support interpretation of lab results, ranges, test methodology, and related information.
Clinicians who work with SabiaMed information systems will also now have access to Micromedex CareNotes® patient education resources, to help engage their patients in their care.
