Rachel Mosher Henke, PhD
Director of Research
Dr. Henke has more than 10 years of health care analytic experience, which includes conducting research projects and consulting with commercial and government groups. She has expertise in quantitative and qualitative research design, evaluations, and analysis. Her research has focused on the Patient-Centered Medical Home model, ACOs, behavioral health, worksite health promotion, geographic variation, and performance measurement.
Dr. Henke manages a large contract with the State of Vermont to identify and evaluate strategies to reduce growth in health care costs and improve the health of the Vermont population. She evaluates the influence of worksite health and productivity programs on employee health and employer costs including healthcare, worker’s compensation, short-term disability, presenteeism, and absenteeism. She also manages the implementation of the Medicare Federally Qualified Health Center Advanced Primary Care Practice Demonstration. Dr. Henke publishes regularly in peer-reviewed journals and presents at national conferences.
Dr. Henke has a PhD in health policy from Harvard University and a BA in biology from Haverford College. She completed a National Institute of Mental Health postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School.
