Mr. Goodhart’s expertise is in clinical performance measurement and methods applied to fraud, waste, and abuse. He focuses on quality and safety measurement frameworks across provider types, use of merged clinical and administrative data in quality constructs, and methods and measures regarding the misuse/overuse of medical services. Mr. Goodhart manages maintenance and enrichment of clinical content within the Truven Health Advantage Suite® and CareDiscovery™ products and supports methodologies such as the Truven Health Medical Episode Grouper and DataBridge. He develops quality measure content for Physician Performance Assessment models for health plans and supports algorithm testing and enhancement in Truven Payment Integrity offerings. Significant past contributions to Truven Health clinical performance measurement solutions include spearheading the development and migration plan for the Truven Health CareDiscovery™ Quality Measures a product to support hospitals in Inpatient Quality Reporting to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
Mr. Goodhart has an MS in health policy and management from the Harvard School of Public Health. His BS is in applied biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
