Francine Poel, MHA, FACHE
Francine Poel brings more than 20 years of experience to the Truven Health Consulting Services Practice. As a senior consultant with the strategy and change team, Poel has assisted healthcare organizations with strategy development and implementation, physician-hospital relationship development, and operations analysis and improvement.
Poel held several roles with Thomson Reuters before joining the Strategic Services practice. She was the director of client services for the planning and marketing product line where she worked with account management and sales to deliver value and help clients resolve their business challenges through the use of information products and services. Prior to her director position, Poel was a client services manager on the same team.
Prior to joining Truven Health, she was a planning associate for Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware, where she provided analysis crucial to the development of the system's strategic plan, and cardiac, vascular, and ambulatory service line-specific business plans and designed and implemented physician and ambulatory databases. She also held positions at in market intelligence at ARAMARK Healthcare and at a Philadelphia area community health clinic. Poel holds a master's in health administration from The Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor's of arts in psychology from Denison University.
Poel is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is a member of the Association for Community Health Improvement. She also serves on the Board of Visitors of the Penn State Master of Health Administration program.
