Emily Durden, PhD
Dr. Durden has studied patterns and outcomes of care, burden of illness, the impact of access restrictions to medications on healthcare utilization, and workforce health and productivity during her research career. She has worked with government, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clients and in addition to retrospective claims research, Dr. Durden has specific expertise in survey research and other methods of primary data collection.
Dr. Durden is a research leader.
Research interests: diabetes, cardiometabolic disorders, mental health, respiratory health, and osteoporosis.
Awards: Nominated for Journal of Managed Care Pharmacy’s Award for Excellence (2010) for co-authored paper on clinical outcomes of patients receiving intravenous iron therapy for chronic kidney disease.
