In this session, participants are introduced to the critical role cost center mapping plays in obtaining valuable department performance reports. Participants learn the steps to map cost centers to departments, utilize secondary mapping, and create normalized only departments. Particular emphasis is placed on the guiding principles for accurate cost center mapping.

This session is the first of two courses on the normalization activities in ActionOI. The course focuses on creating global expense normalizations, populating “normalized only” departments, and adding task- based normalizations based on survey-responses.

This session is the second of two sessions on the normalization process. The course is focused on troubleshooting and resolving task-based normalization issues, reviewing normalization quality reports and finalizing normalizations. Attention is given to the use and creation of free-form normalizations, the reports created during this process, and the overall finalization of Data Collection.
